We returned to league action with this potentially tricky away fixture . Despite going a goal down, the team quickly settled into there rhythm and played some fantastic football. Kevin Lynch scored the equaliser, quickly followed by a superb effort by Stephen Beatty. The 3rd was a well taken goal by Shane McKernan who coolly lobbed the keeper. Unfortunately his afternoon was ended after 35mins when he sustained a head injury & was substituted as a precaution, but on this showing hes going to be an incredible addition to our squad. Josh Lynch slotted in number 4 from the penalty spot just before half time which effectively ended it. In the 2nd half we continued to control the game & added 2 further goals from Darren Stuart & Jay Donnelly. Cookstown scored a late consolation second. The match also was marked by the return to action by player/manager Mcalorum who showed hes still contributing on & off the pitch . All round a good result & we return to cup action next week vs Larne Tech OB. MAN OF THE MATCH STEPHEN BEATTY
